Like most bloggers, I get really stupid spam comments. Fortunately, the spam filter or widget, Akismet, has caught everyone one I’ve received so far. As a result of the filter, I was able to make my blog more comment-friendly (I’d love to tell you all about it, but that would only invite more spam, and I like bacon a bit more).
Anyway, I’m not sure why spam fascinates me so much, but it does. I’ve always been one to find interest and amusement in some strange and everyday things. I’ve written about it spam a couple times, and don’t find many other bloggers mention very much, nor do they give it the attention I do. While that would be a tipoff to other bloggers to leave the topic alone, to me it only increases my fascination.
I list some of the spam comments I’ve received at Stupid Spam Comments. Let me know what you think.
