Here’s a list of links on various subjects that you might find interesting. Some are links to other blogs. For example, under the Audit link, I list audit blogs and links that pertain to audit in general. For IT audit blogs, see the IT Audit link, and so on.

If you have any great links to suggest, please leave me a comment.

Here are a few of my personal favorites:

There’s always really good info on these sites.

    • Ryan,
Thanks for the links. The first I had not seen before. Darkreading I agree with most of the time, but too often they have what I deem to be too sensational of a viewpoint (I can’t think of any examples). I’ve written a bit about Schneier on the blog, who is good. However, I did not like his latest book, Liars and Outliers. I was going to write a review of it, but I can’t seem to finish the book. Have you read it, and if so, what did you think of it?

I will add these 3 to the Infosec Links. Thanks again.

No problem Mack, you have a great site. I haven’t had a chance to read it yet, but it’s definitely on my to do list (I’ll let you know my thoughts when I do though). Anyways, keep up the good work!

I’d like to recommend Maryville U’s visual guide on digital forensics, which defines it in relation to computer forensics and offers a primer on the history of the field.

    • Neil,

For my readers, the guide defines digital forensics, contains is a short history of it, provide examples of how it was used in recent, well-known incidents, and forecasts the future of digital forensics.
