IIA Analytics Article Dead Wrong

A recent IIA article on building an analytics function in internal audit is dead wrong.

At least on one major point, anyway. And it’s a big one.

As the tombstone reads, this point is D.O.A (dead on arrival, or more specifically, dead on analytics).

Blogs are clamoring for proof that Osama Bin Laden is dead–show us the photos! However, I do not think Osama death photos are needed, at least not to prove he’s dead.  I also think that keeping this event in mind can help move your audits along. Let me explain.
